Cam Follower Eccentric Collars are a popular substitute for high tolerances between holes on the same track, allowing for bearing adjustments.
Depending on your requirements, the in-line arrangements of these bearings can be easily adjusted to either increase or decrease the height to the alignment rows of bearings. This enables the loading to spread much more easily across the bearing line, reducing both the service requirements and the need for very precise, uniform machining of housing components.
Bearings can be secured by either a locknut, or a dowel drilled through the housing to meet the bush.
